Spirit Week!

Spirit Week was back at Emma's school in preparation for state testing the following week. The kids had a great time dressing up to the creatively themed spirit days. Monday was Hawaiian day. Emma wore her Remember R3 Relay shirt (Relay is in 5 short days!), a jean skirt, lei and flower in her hair. I forgot to take a picture before she left for school, so Lora took one when the girls got home from school that day...helps to explain the frazzled hair and undone t-shirt!

Tuesday was Sports Day. Emma decided she wanted to wear her triathlon t-shirt from the triathlon she did at UOP last summer, running pants and running shoes. So cute and sporty today! I love it!

Wednesday's theme of Crazy Day is one kids always love (it's the one I always hate when I have to dress for it at my school!). She picked out all her craziness and (floral shirt inside out, pink camo pants) told me she wanted a piggy tail, braid and a bun in her hair. To top it all off, the weather wasn't that great, so she got to wear her ever so matching cherry rain boots too!

Thursday was wear your favorite color day. Can we guess the color?! PINK it was (funny because the next week she said her favorite color was red!). Good thing we have plenty of pink in our house :)

Friday was 3-peat Day. This day was created to celebrate the fact that for the last 2 years her school has scored over 900 on state testing (state goal is for all schools to make 800 and sadly, many schools do not...but mind did this year!!). The point here is that they are going for a 3-peat with testing scores and were encouraged to dress with the 3-peat theme. Because Relay was the next day, we went with a Relay t-shirt. We gave one to Sydney and Camden when I came back from Summit last year. Sydney wore hers and then Camden lent his to the girls' friend, Jenna, to wear. Our 3 Relay cuties are hoping for a 3-peat this year!
