The Tumble Time Bus Rolls Into Town

Allison was so excited for her first preschool field trip! They didn't have to go far though because the field trip came to them! It's called the Tumble Time Bus. It's an old school bus that's been converted into a mini gymnasium on wheels! Inside it is filled with mats, beams, tumble cubes, a trapeze bar and even a zip line!

All the kids walked in their rainbow color order (each day at school they are a different color and that tells them where to line up, what stool to sit on, what center to travel to and who is the line leader for the day) holding on to their rope around the corner from preschool to the park. That is where the bus was parked and they got ready to have a blast!

The Tumble Time Bus all parked and ready for some fun times!

The once-yellow school bus was repainted and decorated with lots of fun colors and phrases. The owners of the bus were teachers and gymnastics coaches that decided to combine the two in to a traveling field trip for preschools and moms clubs. What a fantastic idea!

Before boarding the bus, Allison's group sang songs on the parachute outside of the bus...so cute!

She really got into all the fun hand movements that went along with each song. Her favorite song was, "I'm Going on a Bear Hunt."
Then it was time to enter the bus! First stop, balance beam!

She loved doing "skin the cat" on the trapeze bar. She does those all the time by her self on the one on our swing set in the back yard. Look at those pointed toes even!

After some tumbling, her class just finished drinking some "whisper juice" and singing the song, "Crunchy Ice" in a whisper voice. They also drank some "silent juice" and sang the song silently! (Allison now loves to have me drink "whisper juice" now and then have a conversation in whisper voices with her!) Next, it was off for some more tumbling fun...

The zip line!
Back to the beam after the zip line.

Allison's best buddy, Layla, is in her class.

Layla, Miss Julie and Allison smile big after all the fun in the Tumble Time Bus!

MHS Cheerleading!

While I was at the California Relay Summit in LA, Jeff took the girls to the MHS Cheer Clinic. Allison was so excited to be included in the fun this time!

Emma loved her 3rd clinic and was all smiles when Jeff came to watch their performance at the end of the clinic.
My little cheerleader!
Allison loved her new little friends and cheerleading coaches. They still say hi to her when we're on campus. She gets this cute little smile on her face whenever we see someone from the clinic :)
She loved to shake her booty! Her favorite part to show me was the ending pose too. She got to lay down on her belly, cross her feet in the air and rest her cute little chin on her folded hands. I only got to see these few photos from the clinic and really looked forward to watching them perform at the football game a couple weeks later.

Star Student in 2nd Grade!

Emma was chosen as the Star Student for her class during the week of September 20th. She enjoyed working on her poster. She spent several hours on Sunday getting it all ready for school on Monday. She wanted to take Sparky to share with her classmates that day.

On Tuesday she decided to share her THS Cheerleader Bear from Grandma Judy. I was able to see her share that day. She's so quiet when in front of the class. She answered all the questions asked of her, but didn't share much about her Cheer Bear! We even practiced what she could say! She didn't want to sing any of Taylor Swift's songs this year.

A pose with her poster on the Star Student wall in P6!

While on campus that day she asked if we could look at the art work they'd done a couple weeks before. She was proud to show off her James and the Giant Peach artwork in the hallway. Allison was proud of her big sis too!

Chick Check up

Following Brynn's birthday, the next day we took a peek at the chicken coop. We had to check in to see how the babies were doing. The girls all enjoyed giving them a snack too.

Well, as you can see...they had gotten quite large! They'll start producing eggs soon!

Happy 5th Birthday Brynn!

For Brynn's 5th birthday she decided she wanted to have a luau party since she loved Emma's a few months earlier. It worked out great because I still had all the decor from Emma's party that I brought up for Danielle to use. Such a fun, festive party theme!

Shortly after we arrived, the girls put on their grass skirts and hopped on the couch for story time with Aunt Bonnie. While they were reading we were busy putting the finishing touches on the festivities.

Allison would get book after book after book to read! Story time is so fun with Aunt Bonnie! Sleepy Kiley enjoyed the reading time too.

The guests started to arrive! They all looked so cute in their leis and grass skirts. Emma was proud to share her party theme with Brynn.

Once all the guests arrived, the girls made Aloha picture frames and hair clips. Super cute way to share a momento from the party.
Lots of cute little wahinis!

Time for a hula lesson. Danielle had a friend that knew how to hula, so she taught the girls a dance they shared with all the Daddies that returned from golfing a few hours later.

Brynn was all smiles and danced perfectly!

Emma needed full concentration to get her hula moves down.

The hula girls with their instructor.

Allison loved her hula and begged for me to take a picture of her afterwards.

Kiley joined the hula girls for a bit, but was also happy to sit with Em for a little break.

Nana's girls...at present time the person who gave the gift got to sit on the special blanket with the birthday girl.

Emma and Allison's turn to sit on the gift opening blanket.

Look at that colorful luau cake! Lilo and Stich were the perfect additions to the cake.

The Edmiston Family all ready to sing Happy Brithday!

The final hula performance for the Daddies. Oh how, Kiley loved to be nakie!

All tuckered out! I had to lay on the floor with the girls for them to fall asleep. They don't like to sleep by themselves when they're not at their own house. Keith thought he'd be so funny to capture this lovely photo of me!

Baby Time for Allison

One of Allison's favorite things to do is play with her babies. Many times she puts them all to bed under lots of blankets on the floor. This time she decided to lay them all out in her bed, cover them up and climb in with them. Then she shouts, "Mom, take my picture!" Silly girl!

Football Friday at TLC

It was Football Friday at Emma's school. She borrowed one of Darrian's 49er's football jerseys and looked so cute and sporty!

Happy Birthday Mom!

September is so full of birthdays! Now it was one to mom's! She stopped by on her birthday so we were able to give her her present. We got her a new ceramic coffee cup and Java Makers gift card. It's one of her favorite coffee places. Happy Birthday Mom!

Happy Birthday Carl!

On Labor Day we headed over to Carl's to wish him a Happy Birthday. The girls were proud to share their gift with him because it was a picture of them with their Papa Carl and Tim and Amy's wedding. It was such a great picture of Papa and his girls! Happy Birthday Carl!

Happy Birthday to Me!

Two of my girl friends, Lora and Amy, asked to take me out for my birthday. It was such a nice treat to spend the evening with two great gals! We went and had pedis at the salon and then headed out for some yummy Italian food.

Being that it was Labor Day Monday, we had a tough time finding a salon that was open. We finally found one and Amy and I enjoyed the pampering for our toes.

Check out my purple, glittery toes!

We ended the evening at Sergio's. Good food and great company were the perfect way to celebrate my 36th birthday! Thanks so much Amy and Lora for making me feel so special on my big day.

Butterfly Release #2

The caterpillars from Allison's butterfly sandwich birthday party were finally ready to be released! When we returned home from Camanche, we decided to let the butterflies go in the backyard.

For some reason, some of their wings didn't quite form correctly. It made flying difficult and sad to say, they probably became bird food pretty quick! :(

Allison was very proud to release hers.
Emma was full of smiles while releasing hers too.
