All Girl!

Emma loves me to her paint her nails! She always asks if I will do it for her, but this afternoon she wanted to do it all by herself. Such a big girl!

Fire Department Visits P1

For community helpers week, Jeff's crew brought the fire truck by for Emma's class to take a look at and explore.

Captain Martin talked to the kids about the gear that firefighters wear to protect themselves.

Field Study at the Oakland Zoo

Sydney, Allison, Emma and Camden were so excited to go to the Oakland Zoo! Lora and I took the kids so they could see the animals that Emma and Sydney were studying for their science reports.
Kiddos were flapping their "wings" while we waited to go in. Silly kids!
Off they go!
Emma's report was on flamingos. She was so excited to see the real thing!

Giraffes are my favorite! So beautiful and majestic.
Sleepy lion!
Crazy camels.

Elephants!

Zebras!
Lunch break...Allison loves her blueberries!
Playtime on the ladybug.
The day is winding down. Now it's time to head home and begin working on the reports!

Valentine's Weekend at Camanche

Happy Valentine's Day 2010!! XOXO

Mom and Dad invited us to stay with them at Camanche for Valentine's weekend. The girls love spending the night in the 5th wheel.
Grandma posed on the Camanche stumps with her silly girls.
Statue of Emma
I enjoyed a nice run on the beach while the girls played with Grandma and Grandpa back at camp.
Beach smiles!
We just happened to be camping right next to the Perry Family. The girls loved playing with Megan, Taylor and Addison. Allison kept calling her Madison though!

Before we headed home for the night, the girls opened their Valentine's from Jeff and me.
They loved their new tutus! So frilly and pretty!

Once home, we cooked a heart-shaped Papa Murphy's pizza. Yum! The perfect end to a fantastic Valentine's Day. I deleted the photo by mistake! Have to go find in on a CD now :(

Winter MHS Cheer Clinic

Emma loved the cheer clinic she did in the fall. When the opportunity came up to do the winter clinic, we jumped on it. She was excited to learn the cheer to perform at a basketball game this time!

The girls loved dancing in The Birdcage...home of the MHS Falcons!

After the clinic the girls all received certificates of completion. Emma, Allyson, Sydney and Jenna smiled big with Coach A.
The girls were so proud of their accomplishment. Cheering all day was hard work!

Valentine's Prep Day

With 60 kids in her class, Emma had lots of Valentines to prepare! We decided to get together with Sydney and Camden to make an afternoon activity out of it. The kids loved writing their Valentines together.
Emma whipped through her 60. She writes soooo fast; many times it drives me crazy that she doesn't slow down and take her time! The perfectionist in me must refrain from judging!

In the time it took her to write 60, the rest of the kids weren't even half way done!
Allison wrote her name on stickers for her Play-Doh Valentine's to give her friends at preschool.
She also enjoyed tracing some heart decorations.
Camden really took his time to write all of his Kindergarten Valentines.

Sydney attached a mint or Smarties to her Valentines that had hand written notes. So cute!

We knocked out 200+ Valentine's all in one afternoon! Mission accomplished!
