Summer Fruit Picking

We made several trips to the local orchards and farms to pick fruit this year. The girls loved going and I just loved all the fresh fruit. This time we headed to Brentwood with my moms club to pick berries and other fruit.

Emma reached in to pick some blackberries. They were pretty hard to pick though because the berries were pretty small. Plus, a lot of them were picked through and she really had to reach in the bushes to find some decent sized berries.

Allison, of course, was all about eating the berries! She didn't really enjoy picking them. Actually she wanted to take lots of pictures Emma or me picking them. She needs to practice her photography skills because most of her dozen or so pictures were taken of the sky or the ground!

Yep! Those are Allison's toes in her photo! Silly girl!

After we picked some berries, we headed over a few rows at the farm to pick some peaches and nectarines. These were super sweet and fun to pick!

Emma had to reach up high to grab her fruit.

Allison preferred to pose with her fruit again.

After picking blackberries, peaches and nectarines, we headed across the street to pick my favorite, cherries!

Emma used her shirt to help collect lots of the sweet, juicy Bings.

Allison and Ava searched through the trees for just the right cherries to pick.

Allison is ready to carry the bucket to be weighed. There are lots of cherries in there, but Allison is super strong!

Regan, Emma, Ava and Allison all had lots of fun picking fruit together. After fruit picking we all decided to head to a park to eat lunch before heading home. Although it was a really hot day, we all had a great time picking fruit!
