It's Mother's Day

The day after Kiley's 2nd birthday party was Mother's Day. We were all discussing what we wanted for breakfast. We decided that rather than go out to a restaurant with the kiddos, we'd rather stay home at eat. The meal consisted of breakfast burritos and fresh fruit. Danielle had the eggs and tortillas, but needed some sausage and cheese. Dad and Keith headed to the store for those items while we stayed back to mix the eggs and cook the potatoes.

Quite some time later the boys return with more that what was on the list (sausage and cheese only!). They came back with all the fix-ins for chicken fried steak! Mom, Danielle and I didn't want to eat that, but they insisted on making it. Needless to say, they loved their Chicken Fried Steak Mother's Day brunch!

After our breakfast burritos, we girls all decided to head out side for some fresh air. Needed to get our flip flops first though! Left to Right: Kiley in her new birthday flip flops, Brynn, Allison, Emma and Grandma's cute feet!

I wanted to get a photo with the girls and me on Mother's Day, but Allison was in no mood to cooperate for a photo. :( Nice smiles though, Em! :)

After a nice weekend up at Keith and Danielle's, we headed home to Grandma Sue's house. The girls gave her her gift and cards.

Grandma loves her girls and their new pink peony flower pot.

Emma pours the water in the pot while Allison examines the strawberries in the back yard.

Allison wasn't too sure about all the dirt left behind! Can't wait to see the flowers in bloom! Happy Mother's Day , Mom!
