It's Taylor Time!!!

Taylor Swift pops up from beneath the stage in full marching band uniform singing You Belong With Me...Emma's favorite song, and one she hopes to sing at a talent show at her school one of these days. Allison loves it too. She calls it the "I'm on the Bleachers" song.

We loved that the stage looked like a high school locker room, complete with performing cheerleaders and all!

Off goes the hat...and those signature girls are let loose!

Off goes the rest of the band gear...now the real Taylor is out! These were 2 of her 8 costume changes!

I think one of the best parts of the concert was her genuine appreciation of all her fans. There were so many times when she just stood there in awe that the entire crowd was yelling and screaming for her! Always said how thankful she was for all of her fans.

Emma shows an tentative smile as she looks on at her idol below singing Our Song, Tell Me Why, Teardrops on My Guitar and Fearless. She never got too wild and crazy, but knew every song as it came on and sat there so wide-eyed and happy.

Next she sang Forever and Always in the bright red dress.

Then she went back stage to change again. While changing there was Stephen from Love and Theft and Tim McGraw talking about how Taylor has changed their lives since using their names in a song! After that number she showed up in the crowd down at our end of the Pavilion. The crowd went wild. After singing Hey Stephen she hugged dozens for fans before making her way to a small circular stage at our end arena.

On this stage she sang Fifteen, Tim McGraw and White Horse before walking all the way back, through the audience giving lots of hugs and high fives along the way, to the main stage. Her yellow dress and brown cowboy boots were Emma's favorite outfit of the evening.

Here's Emma and a very tiny Taylor in the same photo together! Pull out that magnifying glass to see her on the main stage in the middle right of the photo.

Pausing for another moment to take in the excitement of the crowd.

Another favorite of Emma's was Love Story, and I loved the set design of the castle.

"Marry me Juliet!"

The Way I Love You
While singing The Way I Love You, Taylor went back and forth singing to her rocker guitarist and a nice sweet boy. Check out the "13" on her hand!

Playing the piano and singing You're Not Sorry.

The stage was all a flame for Picture to Burn. This was the final number of the show.

Then she came back out for an encore in a San Jose Sharks jersey with the name "Swift" on the back. She sang, Today's a Fairytale.

Emma started to get more into the singing as the concert was nearing the end.

Another amazing set design. Taylor Swift is truly deserving of Entertainer of the Year. The amount of thought and planning that went in to her 2-hour show was purely entertaining.

While singing her final number, she got a little crazy and was beating on these drum-like things all wild and crazy. It was the only part of the show I was wondering, "What's going on here?!"

She finished out an amazing show with Should've Said No in the rain.

Here's Taylor's signature hand-shaped heart figure in the rain.

After the concert was over, Emma posed with her treasures from the night: a souvenir program, t-shirt, hat, poster and glow stick.

Back in the car, and heading home. Put on the jammies and called Grandma Judy to say thank you for the best night.
