Deer, Chicks and Frogs...A Day at the Farm?

Nope! We're at Keith and Danielle's house!! After my triathlon we headed on up to Keith's house for a few hours. As we were driving down his street we spotted three does having a little snack in the shade. The girls loved seeing the deer as we drove down the road.

When we arrived Brynn was so excited to show us her new chickens named Brynn, Kiley, Emma and Allison no less! They didn't last long in the cage because as soon as they saw them they wanted to take them out!

Danielle took them out in the backyard because it was a beautiful day. (and chicken poop on the carpet and couch is no fun to clean!) Emma and Allison loved feeling their soft down feathers and Brynn was so proud to show off her new pets!

After a look at the chicks it was time to head to the pond in the front yard to look for frogs! It didn't take long to find some. There were lots and lots of tad poles too!

Brynn and Emma were both a little shocked by the feeling of the tiny frog crawling up their arms!

Allison had more of a calm look because by the time we could catch the frog and let all four girls hold it, the poor frog was completely worn out. He didn't even really try to jump off Allison's hand!
"Finally, I'm free!" sighs the cute little tormented frog.

It was such a beautiful day that I had to capture my beautiful girls against the vibrant green grass and pond. Natural smiles are the best! Thanks for a fun afternoon Keith, Danielle, Brynn and Kiley!
