We headed to Grandma Sue and Grandpa Rex's house for Egg Hunt #2. Keith, Danielle, Brynn and Kiley came down for the afternoon to celebrate too. Check out all the Easter baskets above. Some pretty special girls to get all of those Easter treats!
Allison loved digging into her baskets from Grandma and Grandpa and Auntie Danielle and Uncle Keith.
Emma was all smiles opening her baskets too! Next it was time to let the egg hunt begin! The girls all gathered candies and money hidden around the back yard!
Looking to get the perfect Easter picture of Em and Allison...they don't always like to cooperate though! Every time I ask them to look at the camera they say they are but then they look off to the side. Drives me crazy! This one is pretty cute in their fluffy, flowing tutus even with the jean jackets! It was one cold Easter weekend this year.
Time to get the girls together on the swing. Last year we took their picture in the same place. We were so excited that Allison, Brynn, Kiley and Emma all looked at the camera on the very first try! Grandma says this is her Brownie troop in the making! There's a good chance it will be the cover shot for the calendar I make for my mom each year too.
So happy to spend the day with my girls. Jeff had to work, otherwise he would've joined our photo too.
After egg hunting it was time to decorate some eggs. This year we tried a painting kit. It only came with one tray of rollers and paint so we had Emma and Brynn begin decorating theirs first.
Next it was time for Kiley and Allison to decorate. They all had lots of fun and the eggs turned out great! It was nice not to use the standard vinegar to dye eggs this year :)April 3, 2010
