Riding in the Parade with Santa!

We were the envy of all the kiddies in town at the annual Christmas parade downtown! Jeff had to work and his truck is the one they use in the parade each year. He asked us to come down and ride in the fire truck with him! Santa was even on the truck too! While riding in the truck we heard so many kids shout, "Hey, how did they get in there! I want to ride in there! That's not fair!"
Captain Chris Martin, Santa and Jeff!
Emma and Allison were warm inside the truck...good thing, since it had been raining!
We sat in Jeff's seat and waved to all the parade watchers sitting in the rain!
Daddy came in for a few minutes to dry off and take a quick picture with the girls.

Children's Dance Theatre's submission in the annual Christmas light parade. CDT performs the Nutcracker each year and they are part of Emma's dance studio. They won first place!

Auntie Mo, Uncle Danny, Darrian and Danielle came down to watch the parade and wave to us in the fire truck.

Jeff watching the parade route from atop the truck!
The end of the parade met at the new Transit Station to light the City tree.
The beautiful tree all lit up after the Mayor flipped the switch.

After the parade we took a few shots of Jeff and his crew: Firefighter Jeff Brown, Captain Chris Martin and Engineer Darryl Scott.

Family time!
