The Tumble Time Bus Rolls Into Town

Allison was so excited for her first preschool field trip! They didn't have to go far though because the field trip came to them! It's called the Tumble Time Bus. It's an old school bus that's been converted into a mini gymnasium on wheels! Inside it is filled with mats, beams, tumble cubes, a trapeze bar and even a zip line!

All the kids walked in their rainbow color order (each day at school they are a different color and that tells them where to line up, what stool to sit on, what center to travel to and who is the line leader for the day) holding on to their rope around the corner from preschool to the park. That is where the bus was parked and they got ready to have a blast!

The Tumble Time Bus all parked and ready for some fun times!

The once-yellow school bus was repainted and decorated with lots of fun colors and phrases. The owners of the bus were teachers and gymnastics coaches that decided to combine the two in to a traveling field trip for preschools and moms clubs. What a fantastic idea!

Before boarding the bus, Allison's group sang songs on the parachute outside of the bus...so cute!

She really got into all the fun hand movements that went along with each song. Her favorite song was, "I'm Going on a Bear Hunt."
Then it was time to enter the bus! First stop, balance beam!

She loved doing "skin the cat" on the trapeze bar. She does those all the time by her self on the one on our swing set in the back yard. Look at those pointed toes even!

After some tumbling, her class just finished drinking some "whisper juice" and singing the song, "Crunchy Ice" in a whisper voice. They also drank some "silent juice" and sang the song silently! (Allison now loves to have me drink "whisper juice" now and then have a conversation in whisper voices with her!) Next, it was off for some more tumbling fun...

The zip line!
Back to the beam after the zip line.

Allison's best buddy, Layla, is in her class.

Layla, Miss Julie and Allison smile big after all the fun in the Tumble Time Bus!
