The butterfly sandwich was completed in time for some butterfly ballet!! Special thanks to Lora for helping me cut arm wholes in the bread (Even after trimming and repainting the bread, she still couldn't reach outside the crust!), cutting and hot gluing the peanut butter and apricot jelly (brown and orange felt), applying lots of orange glitter to make that jelly sparkle, and hot gluing straps on the top and sides to keep the sandwich in place! It was so much fun creating this costume, but it wasn't near as fun as watching Allison dance her entire ballet class in it!
My Peanut Jelly and Sandwich was all smiles surrounded by princesses and fairies in class.
So proud to share her costume with Ms. Barb!
Ballet hand positions in costume are a bit of a challenge!
The sandwich was eating her up while stretching!
Arabesque
A sandwich among the girlie girls.
High kicks across the floor.
Love my little sammy!
Time to tap in the sandwich now.
Even a Flash Trick Step or two. Now that's impressive!
Class is almost over...time for sticker step. I think the sticker step was being able to dance in a peanut butter and jelly sandwich costume for 45 minutes!
Allison and her cheerleader friend, Skylar.
We love Ms. Barb! Dancing in costumes is so much fun!
