We started the morning with star-shaped pancakes. I mixed strawberries and whipped cream to make a yummy topping for Emma.
Allison didn't want anything on her star. She did want the pecans and coconut in hers though. That's my favorite! After breakfast, it was time to get ready for the parade!
I made Emma and Allison red, white and blue tutus to wear for the 4th. They were super cute and so easy to make. Danielle made one for Brynn and Kiley too. We met the girls downtown so we could walk in the parade with my moms group.
Layla joined our sea of red, white and blue as we were lined up and ready for the parade to begin.

Kiley didn't want to ride in the stroller with Allison. She insisted on walking, only she was walking quite a few steps behind us. Poor Danielle had to keep scooting her along. To make it even more of a challenge, her tutu kept slipping off her tiny little waist!
After the parade, we headed to Carl and Judy's house for our annual 4th of July swim and BBQ. I wanted the girls to show me their tutus before they put their suits on. They are just too cute! They were quite cooperative and wanted to give me lots of fun poses.
