Dancing in Disneyland!

Emma's dance team, Performance Company at APA was invited to dance in Disneyland. We were so excited for a girls' weekend away. They even missed 2 days of school for our adventure!
We made it to Disneyland!  First stop...carousel!
This ride was just Grandma's speed :)

Allison loved the Tea Cups.

Emma wasn't too happy here...I think because I went on California Screamin' with the Disneyland-crazed Hatch Family and she was too scared to go.  Grandma took her over to King Triton's Carousel instead.  Those Hatches are go, go, go and go some more when it comes to Disneyland.  There is no rest for the weary because there is another Fast Pass to grab and a ride to experience!

After playing at California Adventure for a while, it was time to get the girls ready to dance.  While everyone else stayed in CA Adventure, Lora and I took the girls to Disneyland to get ready to perform.  Here they are walking down Main Street on their way to perform on the Carnation Plaza stage!

Love my dancing girl and her big, bright smile!  She LOVES the stage and I love watching her :)Em and Angelina wait for their turn to chasse across the stage.

The stroller brigade after a long day 2.  Who says 5, 6, 7 and 8 year olds don't need strollers!  They're crazy if they do!

The end of night 2.  Since we had a mile+ walk home each night, it was easy for the girls to fall asleep on the way back to our room.

Starting day 3...the girls got to go back stage and learn a piece from a Disney choreographer.  So fun!  We love Ms. Holly!


After the workshop back stage, we headed to Toon Town for some pictures with the characters.

Crazy Goofy!  Allison ended up with 2 signatures from Goofy.  The first one he used Emma's pen to sign her book.  She was NOT happy with that.  He was kind enough to sign her book again, but this time he used her pen.  Oh, that girl!

Grandma Shaw got face painting for Lily, Camden and Sydney too.  The kids loved it and they looked great!

On to Autotopia!

After an hour+ wait to meet the fairies in Pixie Woods, we finally met Silver Mist!

The hour wait to see Tink and her girls was worth it.  The girls loved filling their autograph books.  I loved Vidia...she's so sassy!

Argh!  Watch out for Pirate Allison!

One last stop on Emma's most favorite ride, Big Thunder Mountain!

Last stop was a visit to Pooh's Corner for a ride more Allison's speed.  The best part was visiting the store at the end of the ride for a yummy cookie!

The end of night 3.


What a great weekend!  Time to pack up the car and head on home.  See ya next time Disneyland!
