We weren't able to go camping over Labor Day weekend because Jeff had to work Sunday/Monday, but we were able to take advantage of his Saturday off and went up to Lake Camanche to visit Monica, Danny, Darrian and Danielle. The kids thought is was great fun to eat ice cubes while standing on the picnic table!
Darrian and Danny took us out for a spin on the lake.
Emma and Danielle were full of smiles while enjoying the warm summer sun on the boat!
Monica was in charging of holding on to all the girlies while on the boat. Sammie was even almost in her lap too!
Darrian came to the back of the boat to hang out with Uncle Jeff.
He even was sweet enough to take a quick photo with me too.
Did the boat ride wear them out?? Nope they were actually just faking it!
When we were done exploring the lake, we parked the boat and Jeff and Danny were on the hunt for frogs! They found lots in the little marshy area. The kids loved it!
Sure looks like Emma is walking on water...or maybe jumping out of the water?? Well, actually she just jumped off the swim platform and into the water!
Looks like she is flying out of the water again! Crazy tricks on the eyes!
It wouldn't be a complete trip to Camanche without a stop at the store for a soft serve ice cream!
When we returned back to camp after our boat ride, Monica painted the girls' finger nails. They loved the alternating colors!
There was even some time for a bike ride, but Danielley doesn't look too happy about it for some reason.
To finish out the day there was one more birthday celebration for Allison! There were some left over cupcakes from preschool so we brought them to share with Darrian and Danielle. Allison got to hear Happy Brithday one more time!September 4, 2010
