My sweet Allison was feeling so bad for Miss Emma who had stayed home from school because she was not feeling well. While Em slept, Allison made her a picture and rested it on her so she could see it when she woke up. I am positive it made Emma feel better the second she saw it.

Swimming Prohibited!
Mom and Dad were camping at Camanche. The girls and I went up for the day to visit. It was a beautiful, sunny day; however it was still chilly. The girls were bundled up and feeding the ducks in the pond. They know to stay back from the edge because swimming is not allowed in the pond. Plus, the water was cold!!!
Next thing I know...Allison fell INTO the pond! Brrrrrrrrrr! I rushed to grab her (no time to grab the camera to take a picture because she was so scared!). Luckily, the pond is shallow, so she didn't fall in too far. I scooped her up and stripped her down. We went into the trailer to warm up after that.
All snuggled and safe again. :)After Allison warmed up, out she went to walk Gunny, feed the ducks and have more fun!

Valentine's Day
I made lunch and snack bags with fun Valentine's prints. Feeling so crafty!
Allison and I visited Emma's class to see how they were celebrating at school.
Emma and Sydney...best buddies forever!
Making Valentine's flowers together at Ms. Grabert's table.
Silly face while making flowers. When are those teeth ever going to grow in?!
Jenna and Sydney came over after school and before dance. To continue with the festivities we had a heart-shaped Papa Murphy's pizza. Delish!
I love these girls!
Trying out the new warm, fuzzy socks! So cozy! The perfect end to a heart-filled day!
Books, lunch/snack bags (I call them Snowflake Creations since no two are alike!) and fuzzy socks for Allison.
Yep, Crazy Brown Girl shows up on Valentine's Day too!

Dinner isn't complete without some cake...make that a conversation heart lined heart cake! They loved it!
While the girls were at dance I left them little love notes on their door. They loved them and are still hanging there to this day! I love these girls!

Emma's 2nd Grade Science Project
Emma's 2nd grade project was a science experiment. She and Jeff had an idea to plant something in different media to see how each would grow.
Shopping for plants at OSH! So many to choose from. She settled on strawberry plants! So fun!One was planted in bark...One was planted in potting soil...One was planted in water...the one below was planted in rocks.Putting the finishing touches on all the plants.Allison loved helping Emma prepare her science experiment at Grandma and Papa's house!
The plants are all ready to go!Update 2/19: Soil, sand and water plants are doing well. Bark and rocks not so well.
Update 2/27: Soil, sand and water continued to do well. Bark looked pretty bad and the rocks made a slow comeback! Great experiment Emma! So proud of you!!!
Super Veggies
Super Relay Race
On Super Bowl Sunday I did a fun race with my Moms Running Wild group. We were in teams of 3 and each raced approximately 2 miles. The fun part was that we all dressed to match our team mates!
Moms Running Wild!
Our team won third place in our age division. Unfortunately, Natalie had to leave early and missed our photo opp!
My team...Colleen, me and Natalie! Love our heart socks, turned into arm warmers! We even had matching pink bows for our pony tails.

KAR
Emma and Sydney are ready for their first ever Performance Company KAR dance competition! Lora and I drove together and then got the girls ready after we arrived.
Time for hair and make-up while having a bit of a snack! I am so not a make-up Mom! I need to concentrate to get the eyes just right.
Ta-da! I did it! Hair and make-up done...or so we thought! Ms. Holly had to add more make-up. What?!!? Yes, more make-up! I guess those stage lights really do wash out their cute little faces if there isn't enough make-up on.
My "Return to Sender" dancer all ready to go!Kaitlyn, Sydney and Emma are ready to dance! All the "Return to Sender" girls: Taylor, Elanah, Emma, Sydney, Angelina and Kaitlyn. Sydney and Emma...BFF's forever!
My girl is so grown up!
